Nigel Allyson-Ryan, FRSA, CEO

Nigel Allyson-Ryan, FRSA has developed partnerships and created initiatives for business and community engagement in education, health, business and the community for over 25 years. 
He originally worked with Chicago-based Architects, Skidmore Owings & Merrill and The Design Solution in London before setting up Metropolitan Design, a multidisciplinary design practice in Brighton. Nigel is also a professional artist, has owned art galleries in Sussex and exhibited internationally.
Nigel is a member of Brighton & Hove Arts & Creative Industries Commission, Sussex University Hospitals Arts Advisory Group, 

The Specialist Schools & Academies Trust, Arts & Business (South East), a founder member of Art:sync – Mainstreaming Diversity in the Arts, an Associate Producer of New York City International Film Festival 2014, Director of RAP (Reciprocal Arts Partnership) Project (Brighton & St. Lucia), Director of 'Art on the Line'.
He is currently Marketing & Schools Liaison Coordinator with Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne and Lewes, a Champion for ESP (Eastbourne Schools Partnership), a Fellow of the RSA (member of the Innovative Education Team 
and Founder of 'RSA Creative Salons' with Waitrose).

Clare Christian, FRSA, Associate

Clare Christian is an award-winning publisher and publishing consultant. She has an extensive background in publishing and literature and after working for some of the larger publishing companies, including Pearson and Hodder Headline, set up her own publishing business in 2005. In 2007 she was awarded the inaugural London Book Fair/British Council Young Publishing Entrepreneur of the Year award. She is a co-founder and organiser of the Brighton Book Festival, trustee of New Writing South, a founder member of the Guild of Creative Entrepreneurs, a Fellow of the RSA and a member of HHDBA.   She has been running publishing consultancies The Self-Publishing Advice Service and The Book Guru since 2009.
